That is not an Australian accent but yet another one of the many "Whingey POMS" who go to Oz, refuse to assimilate, form little POM enclaves and whine all day about Australia.

You can always ID them because without fail, within 5mins of starting a conversation, they MUST begin a sentence with "Back in the UK...."

It is a fact. Food prices there are ridiculously high. Housing is in a bubble. The bust will come.

Housing is overpriced in OZ. Even ulu areas and old above 50 years housing are overpriced. Food are better in terms of quality and variety in OZ. Oz is the bottom 3 on my immigration list after canada and NZ. But OZ pays the highest among these 3 cuntries.

Does anyone knows whether a childs CDA account can be withdrawn once you renounce your peesai citizenship? Anyone here have done that?

You can't escape it, everywhere is expensive - Singapore, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK etc

The cheap places are Thailand, China, Vietnam etc.
