A man was charged in court on Monday with causing the death of a motorcyclist and injuring the pillion rider.
Gary Chan Chee Meng, 41, also faces a charge of drink driving along Hill Street at about 3am on Aug 13 last year.
He is accused of causing the death of Mr Muhammad Noor Azhar Abu Bakar, 18, by failing to keep a proper lookout while making a right turn from Hill Street into Coleman Street, thus encroaching into the path of the rider who was travelling straight along the opposite direction.
Mr Muhammad Noor's bike then hit the left side of his car.
