Cricket trio accused of theft amounting to nearly $20,400

A coach with the Singapore Cricket Association, and two national players have been charged with housebreaking and stealing jewellery and valuables amounting to nearly $20,400.
Jeraj Puvaneshan, 26, and sisters Rajeswari, 24, and Vigineswari Pasupathy, 22, who are listed as members of the women's national squad on the association's website, were ordered to be remanded for another week for further investigations and to trace the stolen items.
Police also believe the trio, who were charged on June 2, 2012, committed other offences and that the victims are cricket players.
Jeraj is represented by lawyer Shiever S.R. while Mr S.R. Shanmugam is acting for the sisters.
