The RVP situation could mean that he is moving.
If staying, both parties would be happy to announce it and pat one another on the backs.
Could be on the way to Juventus or maybe even Man City.

Fergie really hopeless.
There is the whole world to scout from and all he can do is recruit 2 established BPL players.
Just like buying Rooney, Ferdinand and Berbatov for more than 30 million pounds each.
Who don't know how to do that?

he has no $$ to work with. He is betting on Berbatov and probably Nani's sale. Probably flog Nani off for some moola. Berbatov probably leaves for free anyways.

and he will step up effort to sign Modric - but unlikely he will get his man. I suspect there might be "disturbance" from Man C who have the financial clout.

Baines seem to be likely target - since Everton will be powerless to hold onto him if he wanna go. Now, why don't he go sign Barkley from Everton instead? And he used to like Rodwell alot but due to loss of performance, bye bye...

What jw5 is saying is that Frogie could have got better players at lower prices if he were really good at spotting talent around the globe.

If the reports that Nani is rejecting a 130,000 pound a week contract are true, he is damn greedy and not worth it.

Yes, thanks for the clarification.
Who doesn't know how to buy Rooney for 30 million pounds?
No doubt he was won things over the years, but he had plenty of resources.
Builds teams but spent money doing it, and not exactly the best tactician either as proven by team selection in the Man City game.

talent spotting is usually give & take.

after the bebe episode, maybe Fergie's balls shrunk abit & fall back on old & tested - which was what Man C pursued on their way to winning the league this season.

before anything, Fergie go grab tiote.

we need steel in midfield not another flimsy ballerina like Modric.

his name may start with M like Messi, but that's where all similarities end.

Frogie's strength is his man management imo. He's very good at motivating players. His 4-4-1-1 counterattacking tactics are good too even though that's the only trick in his tactical book. And then there's the luck factor. If he weren't the manager of the most successful club in EPL, he wouldn't have had so much $ at his disposal to buy good players and the board wouldn't have been so patient with him. Sometimes, just because a team is successful doesn't mean every member of the club deserves equal credit. Imo, Mourinho is the better manager.

yup me too have reservations regarding Kagawa.

He's fast for the Bundesliga but average for EPL. His passing is good although limited by range and angle. He can't really dribble past players either. Good control of the ball though. He's lucky to have a good coach who knows how to maximise his talents. But not good enough for Man Utd, I think.

Bro, I have more faith in you than that farking old fart when it comes to talent scouting. The man is bereft of ideas and it looks increasingly likely he will over pay for these players. Better that he retires.
