An Ugandan prostitute arrested for offering sexual services to two undercover police officers in the Desker Road area tried to get them to release her by pushing a stack of notes into an officer's hand.
Joyce Nakaseeta, 27, was on Monday jailed seven weeks by a district court for bribing the police sergeant with US$300 (S$371) and $190.
She committed the offences in the early hours of March 20. The soliciting charge was taken into consideration by the judge in the sentencing
She had told the cops in English that she was willing to 'give anything' despite warnings that it was an offence to offer a bribe to police officers.
