A Chinese national woman jumped to her death in front of her husband and eight-year-old son last night (18 Mar).
The incident took place at around 8.50pm, at Blk 194, Kim Keat Road.
The deceased is Mdm He Yu Na, 34, who moved to Singapore from Hainan, China, more than ten years ago.
Mdm He had worked as a stall assistant in a food court in Orchard Road.
A relative, Mr Han explained that Mdm He had six or seven cans of beer in her room prior to her outburst.
The emotional woman had a fight with her aged mother, then threw a chair, which hit the refrigerator and rebounded to hit her mother on her foot.
Mdm He had also sent a 'farewell SMS' to her sister, asking her sister to take care of her eight-year-old son.
The woman then jumped from her flat before the eyes of her husband and son.
