You want to know who can be the first President of Thailand and I'm sure 99% Thais will agree with me? She is none other than Thai Crown Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The Thai people love her as much as her father, the King.
However, the old King is obviously not going to pass the throne to her as he being an Asian, favours his son, the Crown Prince. The majority Thais dislike the Crown Prince as he is a Playboy and there are lots of bad publicity about him! How to have him as King? But many Thais had wish that the old King pass down the throne to the Princess.
So, best is when old King pass away, Thai becomes a republic she becomes the first President!
Btw PAD fight for their own interest, they only use the King's name!!

But his didn't use the right strategy. He should focus attack on LKy in stead of the judges this old dog tried to hide behind. E.g. if he want to call Berlinda Ang a prostitute he should say that LKy & Son visited this prostitute instead of just attacking the judge.
In other words while attacking must link it directly to famiLEE.
Court & judges are servants for famiLEE and components of LEEgime.
Better strategy is only focus the fight to the top of pyramid instead of dealing with the lower and large portion of pyramid. Berlinda Ang is not a prime target but old dog thief is. Judges are too small, even the CJ isn't very big a target really.
Mr. Nair hit the judge who is too low in LEEgime, therefore LEEgime can afford to fix him like this. What you pointed out about Civil War is true but not uniquely. It is very similar in most wars in the past when information travels very slowly.
USA nuked Japan in WW2, and Japs surrendered quickly. However, the news took long time to spread around the world. Even in the massive and widespread war fonts the soldiers of both sides still have no idea what had happened. The info reached some soldiers 1 week after/later, and often caused confusions.
I read that junior commanders had no fucking idea what was atomic bomb and did not believe the huge casualty numbers from Hiroshima & Nagasaki, they tot the casualty figures were wrong, because they knew no bombs that have such power. Fightings were still going on in some parts of front line while war was officially already over.
In Guam they found more than one Japs soldier some 27 years after the war end, still armed and not surrendered with strong faith to fight for his army and emperor.
Singaporeans still believe a lot in peace - stability - foreign investment etc.
It will become clear later that the real importance and significance had been blown out of proportion by famiLEE LEEgime as well as even oppositions.
You look at Taiwan economy during those days of overthrowing KMT regime and DPP regime - prosper and strong, now that the political aspect is stable and the economy had however became worst shit then those days!

If you had spoken to people who came from war countries, they will tell you that they eat; sleep; work; marry; have sex; have fun; gave birth; fed children etc like us except all in the middle of war. Women never stop cooking while bullets are flying in their village. They got used to it - something Singaporeans can not imagine.
Singaporeans lack the sight and scope of such reality. Completely have no experience, and got it all wrong by simple imaginations. We have to open eyes and mind to learn more from the rest of the world.
