Take a look there, theft cases of vehicles are on the raise. Thought it was so safe in SG, don't think it is anymore with all the inflation shit.

Bros driving SUVs or nice big cars should really take caution these days.

companies like ciscos have tracking devices on their vehicle
maybe its time to hide such devices inside your SUVs ?

wonder how much does cost for such an implementation.
anyone thought of the idea to set up such companies ?

also wondering how the smugglers get such big vehicle out of SG ?

Simple ! Smugglers immediately drove the stolen vehicle straight to causeway after stealing it.

SG custom officers only check passports, seldom scan licence plate when crossing. By the time owner reported missing, it will be more than 24hrs liao. Missing car is not a top priority case for SPF.

I think the job was done by malaysia car syndicate. Where else you can find easy target of all branded SUV parked nicely in a multi storey carpark waiting to be stolen, without security & cctv somemore.

It's safer and more economical to drive smaller cars especially when oil prices are rock high nowadays.

aiyo, dont be so racist la, every country in this world have the same problem. Its a matter of more or less.

Whats matter is the resolution. Maybe in future, every car will be installed with a tracking GPS

HAHAHA!!! Tracking devices already available to anyone who wants it. But like 3G video calls, everyone shuns them because of the everyday intrusion into their privacy.
As for car thefts, where there's a buck to be made, someone will. Just get the less popular car in the region and you'll be more immune. Consider a Subaru or Audi vs a Toyota or Merc

Why would anyone need an SUV in Sinkieland?

A sign of the times....for particularly SUVs to be hit. In a way, it's a sign that the less well-off don't feel there's anything wrong in showing disdain for the rich.
