Got some IT job there in Arizona most job r locate in California or inside Washington State
If you can, then I would consider the beautiful Pacific Northwest and the Seattle area - its fun, its happening its cutting edge and its full of IT techie type of people hanging out in trendy area there. The nature is spectacular and you are also very close to Asia too.
Just a FYI
Its nice there but I prefer the East Coast. Our local economy here is quite good newspaper this morning said our jobs are plentiful, and our unemployment will sink below 6% in 12 months which is lower than the national avg now.
We dont see it going below 8% nationally in 2011 so that sounds like the ideal situation - live in a city where its below the norm.

Both East and West Coasts have much to offer the prospective migrant - it all comes down to what are you looking for in terms of climate, lifestyle etc.

Cold weather is not for everyone. The Singapore Wife thinks 50 deg is cold so every year now we head to Florida where its sunny, cheap and just awesome. Loving the 73 deg weather today hee hee but the son wanted to go to the Harry Potter Attraction at Universal AGAIN. What is the big deal with this Harry Potter anyway?

Leaving Singapore to get away from my mother has greatly enhanced my standard of living. And ditto on the Xmas thing. Wife is at the malls everyday and bugging the Mercedes Embrace concierge service to help her shop. You wont believe the conversations women have about buying things. Lucky for me I have my boat to keep me going.
Mother in laws in Singapore might be a good reason why so many younger couples are leaving.

What do you mean by "return"? Return what?
Its tradition, anything we buy we dont want we just return to the store. Alot of people abuse it though cause we have 90 days to return stuff
