Why LKY didn't cry?

How come LKY did not cry at his wife's wake? I do recall him crying on national tv when Sg and Msia separated.

What does that tell us? Too proud to cry? Nonetheless, he did seem genuinely sad when Sg got kicked out by Matlaysia. One way or another, also a good thing la. Maybe Old Man should have gone out quietly when sentiments are still positive.

Give the old man a break. Different people react differently to death and personal tragedy. He's probably more composed as he and the rest of his family had time to reflect and prepare for her death as her condition was deteorating over the 2 years...

It's pretty obvious that LKY lost his voice. I'm very sure that LKY lost his 中氣, though it could be the result of his recent fall and pneumonia.

But if you listen to LHL, he almost broke his voice on many occasions during his speech. LHL is devastated. I believe he realizes that he has just lost the pillar of his life. LKY might have been his pillar in public, but now we know that KGC is the cornerstone.

LWL sounds weird. Everything about LWL seems to suggest that she is male. The way she speaks, and her voice....

LHY is the most pleasant.

Ripe old age of 89 is a "happy" death as the Chinese saying goes. quality of life is all that matters, with sons, daughter, grandsons, grand daughters, all around. Very good life liao.
